Where Precision Meets Performance
Held on August 5–6, 2026, at Manzana de Roma, Tlalnepantla, Estado de México, FESTIVAL DEL CIRCO MÉXICO 2026 brought together more than 30 national and international artists for a two-night circus competition featuring aerial performances, balance acts, juggling, and acrobatics selected from over 250 applications across the continent.
From the precise control of performers’ movements to the coordination between artists, circus performance represents a combination of dedication, creativity, and precision. The same pursuit of precision is reflected in professional lighting design, where accurate control of color, intensity, and movement helps shape the atmosphere and enhance the audience experience. LiGHT SKY supported the production with AQUAPEARL-PRO and AQUAPEARL-MINI shaping the main stage, while SHARK PROFILE brought precise, powerful lighting to the lobby.
Shaping Every Performance Moment Through Flexible Lighting
With multiple disciplines presented throughout the festival, the event lighting system needed to adapt to different performance styles while maintaining a consistent visual atmosphere.
AQUAPEARL-PRO fixtures were installed above the stage and around the circular performance area, providing the foundation of the lighting design. Like performers who rely on precise control of every movement, AQUAPEARL-PRO delivers precise control of color, intensity, and visual effects through 19 × 40W RGBW LEDs, a 5°–45° zoom range, and individual LED control.
This flexibility allows lighting designers to move between wide-area stage coverage and more focused visual effects, supporting different performance expressions while maintaining a clear connection between performers and audiences.
Extending the Visual Experience Beyond the Main Stage
The lighting design extended beyond the performers themselves, using the surrounding spaces to build a more complete visual environment. Along the background wall, AQUAPEARL-MINI fixtures were arranged in an arch-shaped formation, creating a luminous frame behind the circular stage. Its 7 × 60W RGBW LEDs, 5°–50° zoom range, and rotating front lens brought flexible color and dynamic effects to the backdrop, adding depth and visual rhythm to the performance space.
The visual experience continued into the lobby, where SHARK PROFILE created a strong lighting presence before audiences entered the performance area. Powered by a 1200W LED engine with a 6°–50° zoom range and precise framing system, it provided powerful, controlled light for shaping the surrounding space and extending the event’s visual identity beyond the main stage.
