FIRST FEST brought world-class electronic music to Almaty, Kazakhstan, gathering thousands of fans for a night of music, energy, and immersive entertainment. Headlined by internationally renowned DJ Lost Frequencies and featuring a special performance by TASSO, the festival combined global talent with large-scale stage production, powerful sound, and spectacular visual effects.
To support the event’s creative vision, nearly 300 LiGHT SKY fixtures were deployed across the festival stage, helping transform every performance into a dynamic visual experience and demonstrating the power of professional festival lighting solutions.
Meeting the Demands of a Modern Festival Stage
As a large-scale electronic music festival, FIRST FEST required a concert lighting system capable of delivering powerful aerial effects, immersive color atmospheres, and seamless visual transitions throughout the show.
To achieve this, LiGHT SKY combined multiple fixture families into a unified festival stage lighting solution. The 300W MINI LUNAR and 230W F230II beam moving heads generated sharp, high-intensity beams and dynamic prism effects, creating dramatic aerial looks that extended far beyond the stage and into the audience space.
Complementing the beam system, the IP66-rated AQUAPEARL MINI moving head wash lights delivered vibrant color washes, kaleidoscopic effects, and flexible zoom coverage, allowing the atmosphere to evolve with different artists and musical moments.
For performer-focused scenes and detailed stage presentation, SUPER SCOPE II moving head profile lights provided precise framing, projection, and creative effects. Its 4-in-1 Beam, Spot, Wash, and Profile functionality gave lighting designers the flexibility to build layered looks while maintaining visual focus on the performers.
Together, the fixtures created a versatile concert and festival lighting system capable of supporting both large-scale visual impact and detailed creative expression.
