How Do Prolight + Sound Guangzhou and GET Show Impact China’s Entertainment Technology Industry？

Prolight + Sound Guangzhou

In order to meet the development needs of the Entertainment Technology Industry in Guangdong and take full advantage of the industry cluster, in 2003, the first show Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG) was organized by Guangdong International Science & Technology Exhibition Company (STE). A strategic cooperation with Messe Frankfurt to co-organize Prolight + Sound Guangzhou was established in 2013, which aims to uphold its position as a comprehensive industry platform through featuring a whole spectrum of products from the sectors of pro audio, lighting, stage equipment, KTV, parts & accessories, communication & conferencing, as well as projection & display. Messe Frankfurt is one of the world’s leading trade fair, conference and event organizers with its own exhibition grounds in Frankfurt, Germany.  Performance are increasingly embracing digitization and new technology. Last year 2023, LIGHT SKY lighting supported the big lighting show of Prolight + Sound Guangzhou – The UNICORN. LIGHT SKY moving head powerful and innovative SUPER SCOPE MAX, SUPER SHARK BEAM, MAMBA were rock and roll in this amazing show.

 

GET Show

In addition to Prolight + Sound Guangzhou (PLSG), there’s another famous exhibition for Entertainment Technology Industry, that is GET Show.

In 2011, Guangzhou (International) Entertainment Technology Show (hereinafter referred to as: GET Show) was build in Guangzhou, to be the “Golden Signboard” in Guangdong Entertainment Technology Industry. It was created by Industry Association of China Entertainment Equipment (SCEE), which is a non-profit community group formed by a majority of enterprises in the field of entertainment in Guangdong voluntarily. The show covers the stage performance audio, public broadcasting and conference systems, moving stage light, LED lighting fixtures, microphone, amplifier, stage peripheral equipment and so on.

As one of the largest and most influential exhibitions in Global Entertainment Technology Industry, the annual GET Show attracts nearly 1,000 global brands, with an exhibition area of over 80,000 square meters and nearly 70,000-10,0000 professional visitors from all over the world. This year’s GET show was successfully held from March 3th to 6th with professional visitors of 6,3132, with the total exhibition area of nearly 90,000 square meters. It has eight exhibition halls to show the cutting-edge technology of the international industry. People can see new technologies, new products, new applications here!

GET Show will also work with experienced lighting manufacturing companies and professional lighting experts to generate spectacular lighting shows delivering a mesmerizing spatial experience and captivating performances for the audience. Featuring the universe, life, and creation, the successful lighting show “HALO” by 2024 GET Show has given a deep impression on domestic and foreign visitors. Over 300pcs LIGHT SKY lights illuminate the event, including the high-performance IP66 outdoor wash moving head light AQUAPEARL-PRO and IP66 outdoor beam light WHALE BEAM. 

 

LIGHT SKY’s Success at GET Show 2024

In GET show 2024, LIGHT SKY has reached great success for it attracts a sea of visitors. In their booth, we can see LIGHT SKY the latest addition MINI LUNAR AQUA and MINI LASER AQUA. Both of them are very compact and easy to carry with net weight of only 13kg. They’re IP66-reated which can be safely used outdoor and can withstand extreme environmental conditions for greater immersive light shows. 

MINI LUNAR AQUA is a pure moving head beam driven by 150W lamp with output of 210,000lux at 10 meters. The beam angle is 1.7°, equipped with 14 color + 1 blank, 17 fixed gobo + 1 blank, 8 facet +24 facet prisms. It’s suitable for large-scale performance, music festival, exhibition and so on.

MINI LASER AQUA is a high-power white laser moving head light designed for high-end users. The diameter of front lens is 128mm, the beam angle is narrow to 1.1°. Featuring 12 colors, a bi-directional rainbow effect, gobos, and a modular design, compact and light weight, this white laser light transforms any stage with precision and power.
