Nearly 300 LIGHTSKY Moving Heads Shine at Gymnastics World Cup in Egypt

On April 30, 2023, the Gymnastics World Cup was held at the Egypt Cairo International Stadium, formerly known as Nasser Stadium. This Olympic-standard, multi-use stadium with an all-seated capacity of 75,000 was the perfect venue for showcasing the talents of gymnasts from around the world. However, one of the highlights of the event was the incredible lighting designs of professional lighting designer Ahmed Magdy, who utilized nearly 300 LIGHTSKY lamps to create a stunning visual experience for the audience and gymnasts alike.

Magdy’s lighting design work was a testament to his professionalism and creativity. By utilizing LIGHTSKY lamps, he was able to create a truly immersive experience for spectators and gymnasts alike. One of the standout lighting fixtures of Magdy’s lighting design was the use of the LIGHTSKY Moving Head Beam–F450II.

This lamp moving beam boasts an inner diameter of φ178mm and adopts 450W lamp (LIGHT SKY NSL-450 USHIO), which provides a bright and even facula. With 8 prism +16 double prism + prism combination, moving head light—F450II created a gorgeous lighting effect that wowed spectators. The LCD backlit screen design and mobile app function, along with the unique USB software upgrading system, made for easy operation and maintenance.

Another key element of Magdy’s design was the LIGHTSKY LED Moving Wash–TX1920 ZOOM.

This moving head wash adopts TYANSHINE 19X20W RGBW 4 in 1 LED chips that provide stable performance and a long lifespan. The integrated combination optical lens creates high brightness and multi-functionality, while the built-in color calibration system ensures consistent color mixing. The light has three different work modes (silent, standard, and high brightness) to accommodate various settings. The compact design and intelligent temperature control make for easy installation and use.
