Lightsky Shark Profile: Brightening the Pride at Plaza de Toro México

On June 29th, 2024, Plaza de Toro México was transformed into a vibrant celebration for the Festival “ORGULLO GAY” The PRIME. Members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies came together to experience a night filled with music, dance, and a spectacular display of lights. Among the many elements that contributed to the festival’s success, the Lightsky Shark Profile stood out as a key component in creating an immersive atmosphere.

Illuminating with Brilliance–Shark Profile

For the “ORGULLO GAY”, the Lightsky Shark Profile was chosen to illuminate the plaza with its powerful 1200W LED white source, delivering exceptional brightness and longevity. The advanced optical system, featuring a φ186mm front lens, ensured a clear and sharp light projection, enveloping the entire venue in a radiant glow.

 

A Multi-Functional Lighting Solution

The Lightsky Shark Profile isn’t merely a light fixture; it’s a multi-functional lighting solution offering BEAM, SPOT, WASH, and PROFILE functions within a single unit. Equipped with dual rotation gobo wheels and a CMY color mixing system, the Shark Profile painted the night with a spectrum of vibrant colors. The linear CTO feature allowed for smooth transitions between warm and cool tones, ranging from 6500K to 3000K, enriching the emotional impact of the event.

Precision and Artistic Flexibility

Lighting designers were given precise control over the shape and direction of the light thanks to the professional framing system, which includes 8 facet & 4 blades framing shutters. This system facilitated the creation of intricate projections and effects like triangles, quadrilaterals, fan-shapes, and circular arcs. The 90° rotating framing system added dynamic movement to the light show, embodying the spirit of pride and joy.

 

Built for Reliability

The robust construction of the Lightsky Shark Profile, coupled with its IP66 rating, made it dustproof, waterproof, and oilproof, ensuring it could withstand the challenges of an outdoor festival setting. The zoom function, adjustable from 6° to 50°, enabled the creation of both tightly focused beams and expansive washes, enhancing the overall experience for the audience.
