What Makes a Pixel Strobe Different from a Conventional Strobe?

A conventional strobe creates impact through rapid flashes of light. Today, stage lighting has evolved beyond simple flash effects. With independent zone control, a pixel strobe transforms light into dynamic patterns, motion, and graphic effects, giving lighting designers far greater creative freedom.

For concerts, festivals, television productions, and live events, this means a single fixture can deliver both powerful visual impact and dynamic lighting effects.

From Flash to Graphic Motion

The LiGHT SKY SOUSA combines 800 × 0.5W RGB LEDs with 160 × 5W CW LEDs. The RGB section features 40 independently controlled zones, while the white-light section is divided into 20 zones.

Instead of flashing as a single unit, different sections can operate independently to create chasing effects, segmented flashes, rhythmic movement, and graphic-style animations. The result is a fixture that adds visual dimension rather than simply producing bursts of light.

Built for Creative Stage Designs

Beyond its dynamic effects, the SOUSA delivers up to 28,895 lm of white output, providing the intensity required for concerts and large-scale productions.

Its patented iM-Lock™ (LiGHT SKY Mortise Locking System) allows fixtures to be connected quickly in both horizontal and vertical directions, making it easy to create larger lighting arrays and customized stage designs.

Combined with IP66 protection, the SOUSA is equally suited for outdoor festivals, touring productions, television studios, and permanent installations where reliability and creative flexibility are equally important.

As stage productions continue to demand richer visual experiences, a pixel strobe offers more than traditional flash effects. It transforms light into movement, patterns, and creative expression, giving designers greater freedom to shape every performance.
