The opening ceremony of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup – Cairo 2026 transformed the arena in Cairo into a vibrant stage of light, motion, and anticipation. A key element of the lighting design was the LiGHT SKY F450II beam moving head light. Built for high-impact stage environments, the fixture features a 450W USHIO lamp and high-precision optical lenses that generate an ultra-sharp 2° beam angle.

With brightness reaching up to 595,000 lx at 10 meters, the F450II beam moving head lights projected striking aerial beams across the arena during the ceremony. The bold beams formed dynamic light structures above the stage, creating a dramatic visual presence and enhancing the sense of scale within the venue.

 

Immersive Color Wash with TX1940 ZOOM

Complementing the beam effects were the LiGHT SKY TX1940 ZOOM LED wash moving head lights. Designed for versatility and brightness, the TX1940 ZOOM features a 700W RGBW LED color mixing system that delivers vibrant, saturated color output.

During the opening ceremony, the wash moving head lights filled the stage and surrounding space with smooth waves of color. The flexible zoom capability allowed lighting designers to transition effortlessly between wide stage coverage and focused lighting accents, adding depth and atmosphere to the performance environment.
