Opening the Doors to Industry, Empowering Future Talent

Connecting classroom learning with industry practice and creating new perspectives for the next generation.

On October 21, LiGHT SKY welcomed 130 students and their instructor from Guangzhou City University of Technology, Guangdong, China, for an industry visit and exchange.

From hardware and production department to machining workshop, product testing, the showroom and a live lighting show, students gained firsthand insight into professional stage lighting manufacturing and its real-world applications.

An Open Classroom Beyond Campus

Stepping into a real manufacturing environment gave students a closer look at how professional lighting fixtures are developed, produced, tested and applied in concerts, theatres and tourism attractions.

The product testing area and lighting show particularly impressed their instructor. As they observed, a successful product requires more than manufacturing expertise. Repeated testing, an understanding of customer needs and adaptation to different applications all play an essential role.

These insights helped connect classroom knowledge with industrial practice, showing students how technical expertise, product thinking and teamwork contribute to real-world solutions.

Connecting Industry Insights with Future Careers

Curious about their future, students actively asked about job opportunities, industry prospects and the skills companies value when recruiting.

The LiGHT SKY team shared insights into international trade roles and the skills companies value, helping students better understand workplace expectations and prepare for future careers.

Growing Together, Shaping the Future

We believe industry engagement helps young people connect classroom learning with real-world applications and explore future career paths.

LiGHT SKY looks forward to more exchanges with educational institutions, sharing industry insights and supporting the growth of future talent in professional stage lighting.
