The Spring Festival Gala has become more than a TV program—it is a shared emotional ritual that gathers families wherever they may be. The 2026 edition, themed “Galloping Steed, Onward Unstoppable”, wove together music, dance, opera, and martial arts with AI-generated imagery and extended-reality staging, inviting global audiences to join the celebration and share the jubilation.

 

Redefining Expression on the Main Stage

Within the multi-layered stage design and large-scale video systems of Beijing’s main venue, LiGHTSKY integrated its industry-first products, blending technological innovation with lighting creativity to create an immersive visual experience. SEA LION, featuring dual 120W RGBW main sources and 216 RGB auxiliary LEDs, redefined effect lighting, allowing designers to shift seamlessly between powerful beams and soft washes—colors flowed like spring rivers across music and dance, crisp lines traced brush-stroke patterns in martial arts, and gentle washes wrapped opera with tender intimacy.

 

Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese mortise-and-tenon craftsmanship, the iM-Lock™ (LiGHTSKY Mortise Locking System) enabled precise alignment of multiple SEA LION units, creating clean, confident visual surfaces that became a central element in the stage’s layered design and large-scale imagery.

 

Working alongside SEA LION, another LiGHTSKY moving beam reinforced the spatial structure with large-aperture optics and penetrating brightness, instantly lifting the stage to a grand, three-dimensional scale and uniting performers, lighting, and visuals into a cohesive spectacle.
